into the outdoors

Though I have worked in outdoor theatre before, this was by far the most unique outdoor setup that I have been a part of. The stage was the outdoor plaza in front of the Topfer Theatre at ZACH. The sound designer created a seamless surround system for our audiences, who were positioned in swiveling office chairs in the center of the plaza. They turned to watch as new scenes developed in a full 360 degrees.

For this show, I was an A2/Audio Overhire.
